Why do homebuyers need a home inspection?

Buying a home could be the largest single investment the homebuyer will ever make. To minimize unpleasant surprises and unexpected difficulties, homebuyers should strive to learn as much as they can about the house before they buy it. A home inspection may identify the need for major repairs or builder oversights, as well as the need for maintenance to keep it in good shape. Through the home inspection process, homebuyers will have a better understanding about their prospective house, which will allow them to make decisions with confidence. If a homeowner is planning to sell their home, a home inspection can give them the opportunity to make repairs that will put the house in better selling condition. Home Inspector Certification

I have partnered with the best names in the industry to make sure I have every resource at my fingertips.  I am a Certified Professional Inspector through InterNACHI, the only college accredited home inspection certification program. I am also certified through Inspector Certification Associates.  My radon certification comes both from ICA and InterNACI, as well as from Health Homes Education. On top of those certifications I am also a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors.

I am committed to continuing education and bringing not only my past experiences to my clients but new knowledge from these great organizations. If you want to know what is new and exciting in our home inspection world check out my blog posts on Facebook as well as my blog page on the website here. I will keep this blog updated with tips and information for homeowners.
